Mount Vulture Vineyard Tour Duration: Half a day Description: Visit to the vineyard with briefing on various type of wines grapes, climates and soil. Back in the cellar to learn the history of the wine and how the wine was made including learning about the wine making process. Wineries/Vineyards: The Alovini Winery use the aglianico grapes from some of the best-tended vineyards anywhere in Italy. A translator will participate in the course to translate the cooking explanations to ensure that the traditional recipe hasn't been modified by changes in culture and language. A Day at an Italian Farm
Duration: from 9:00am to 6:00pm Price: 28.60 EUR per person Description: We offer guests the chance to spend an anforgetable day in the Italian countryside. A beautifully renovated old farmhouse located aproximately 8 km from Calitri - in a hilly part of central southern Italy in the ancient area of Alta Irpinia, is a farm of 180 hectares with a rich history. Here you will find natural beauty unlike anywhere else in southern Italy. Enjoy ample space to relax by the pool (including changing rooms, toilets, deckchair). Light lunch includes local cheese, ham, fresh salad, bread, mineral water and glass of local Fiano di Tufiello red wine per person. Additional beverages/food to be paid separately. About the farm: In the past the farm was devoted to sheep farming and cereal cultivation.Today their efforts are dedicated to organic farming and making their own products. In 2003/2004 it was added a cellar to produce wine from their own grapes, a mill to make flour from wheat, a laboratory to make organic pasta, a laboratory to bottle organic tomatoes and organic honey.

Taurasi Town Tour
Duration: Departure 9.30 a.m. from Calitri, return: 10 p.m. Price: 160 EUR per person. Minimun three people Visit the historic town of Taurasi, the medieval castle, the ancient wine cellar, and the Baron's aristocratic palazzo where the Regional Wine Foundation is located. Lunch at the Antica Irpina Wine Estate with local specialities and wine tasting. Excursion to the Caggiano vinyards and olive tree plantation. Visit (time permitting) to the natural mineral water fountain of Fontana Lardo e Giardino and walk along the Calore river.
Wine Tasting, Antique fountains and Antique Masserie Tour
Duration: three and a half hours. Morning or Afternoon. Price: 130 EUR per person, divided by the number of people in the minivan (maximum 8) Visit to the Fontana della Noce (the Fountain of the Walnut). Visit to the " La Guardia" wine estate with wine tasting of local wine. Visit by foot along a panoramic footpath to the Fontana dei Monaci (The Fountain of the Monks). Honey tasting at the local honey producer Azienda Agricole Cestone. Visit to the Fontana di Sant'Arcangelo (The Fountain of the Archangel), followed by Fontana Berrilli (The fountain of the Berrilli family) and the Fontana dei Provolacchi (The Fountain of the Cheesemakers) followed by a coffee break.
